Sang Yeol Lee is a Professor in the Department of Semiconductor Engineering at Cheongju University and Director of the Research Institute of Advanced Semiconductor Convergence Technology. He also serves as Director of the Gachon Advanced Institute of Semiconductor Technology (GAIST) at Gachon University. Dr. Lee previously held faculty and research positions at Yonsei University, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), the University of Science and Technology, and the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), as well as serving as a visiting scholar at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Yonsei University. His research focuses on semiconductor processing, thin-film transistors, transparent conducting oxides, nanoelectronics, nanobiosensors, and memory devices. Dr. Lee has delivered numerous keynote and invited presentations at international conferences and has published more than 300 papers in notable scientific journals.
