He began his tenure at TRI as a Field Application Engineer, a role he held for over 12 years. During this time, he developed deep-seated expertise in automated inspection, working closely with manufacturing partners to optimize AOI, SPI, and AXI solutions. His technical foundation is further supported by nearly seven years at Foxconn, where he served as both a Product Engineer and a Test Engineer. This background gives him a unique and practical perspective on the challenges of modern SMT production lines. David’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tamkang University. He later earned a Master of Science and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Technical and Industrial Education from Pittsburg State University.
